The team

Who runs Madhesh Next

Five people hold the campaign together — one convener, and four who bring mentorship, public relations, strategy and media. None of them leads it. Their job is to keep it non-partisan, keep it open, and make sure every district can run without waiting for anyone.

What the team does — and does not do

  • Does: convene meetings, hold the campaign to its non-partisan commitment, help district chapters start, and answer for what has and has not been delivered.
  • Does not: speak for any political party, endorse candidates, control what a district chapter decides to work on, or own the campaign's material — everything Madhesh Next publishes is free to copy.

The team is accountable to the same question the campaign asks of everyone else: what did you actually make easier this year?

District coordinators wanted

Each of the 8 districts needs its own coordinator, and each of the 136 local levels needs at least one person willing to ask one question.
